Christmas in the salon starts when November 17th comes around! Ever wondered how Christmas for Team Glam works in the salon, then carry on reading to find out about all the fun things that happen in December.
Of course no Christmas is complete without a 10ft Christmas tree in the middle of the room! Zoe and her parents have the task of spending their whole Sunday building and decorating the tree as well as decorating the rest of the salon. Sydney has been so excited about this she’s had a countdown on the whiteboard in our staff room! 😉
Once the tree is up in the salon, Christmas really starts to feel like it’s just around the corner. With this thought in mind the end of November is Team glams time to prepare for the busiest month in the salon ahead.
The start of December is when team glam are most excited and we are let loose and enjoy a well earned night out on our Christmas do. It’s not very often that the whole team are together letting our hair down and now that we have 2 more members this year we are going to make it the best one yet. As well as excitement to leave the salon and go out as a team we also do our secret Santa the same day, it might even be the first year that team glam have actually kept secret Santa a secret! 🤫
It's also Rheannon's birthday on the 9th which we all (mainly Zoe) love winding her up about as it's her last year in her twenties!!
As well as the excitement from the tree and everything planned in December, the Christmas stock has arrived! This years is bigger and better, Goldwell‘s Kerasilk gift bag is full of all the hair essentials, full size shampoo & conditioner, mini hair spray and a hair perfume. Christmas stock is limited and will sell fast as we have all ranges in to suit everyone. The kerasilk gift bags are available in Reconstruct, Repower, Control and Colour. Alongside the purchase of one of our gift bags comes with your choice of a free Molton Brown bauble and this year we have a bigger selection to choose from with 2 new fragrances.
As Christmas is the busiest time of the year for hair and beauty, appointments are booked far in advance and any floating appointments midweek are always snatched up by last minute bookers. Due to this we advise that clients looking to get glam, ready for the festivities to book in advance. Sometimes not everyone can make it here due to working and other commitments during the week, therefore this year team glam are extending two of their working days which means some extra space to fit in just before Christmas day. The extended dates for this year will be Saturday 21st 8am -5pm and Tuesday 24th 10am - 2pm Both days all of Team Glam will be in.
